Statistical Mechanics beyond the standard curriculum
This webpage collects course materials prepared for my TA work for Statistical Mechanics I at NTHU in Spring 2026. It is intended for students who would like to explore advanced and less commonly covered topics that go beyond the standard statistical mechanics curriculum.
What you will study
We will explore several advanced yet important techniques in statistical mechanics, covering both analytical and numerical approaches. In particular, we will examine how these methods can be used to study one of the central objects in the subject: the canonical partition function.
